Ok, I'm home now. That was really fun! A big thank you to all the folks at the Gene Williams Country Television Show for having me on the show. Thanks to the Country Junction Band for backing me up. Awesome job guys! I really enjoyed the trip out. We only managed to get lost once. Darn that junction 44! But we were able to get there just fine. We were able to visit a wax museum while we were there. Having never seen one before, it was pretty interesting. Got some fun pictures.(check out the gallery) Anyway, thanks to all those who came and saw the show. Fan Fair is up next. We'll keep ya posted! -Michele

A roadtrip seems in order here. I love to travel! Look out Branson, here we come! Now I just have to pack...

I have never driven that far by myself. Just me, open road, and a full tank of gas. Just kidding, it's only half full.. I was able to talk my sister into coming with me. She is so much fun to be around. We should have a good time. I got about a million maps from Mapquest so we won't get lost, but you never can tell.

Ready for adventure? And on we go!

Happy April Fool's Day! I can't believe how the time can fly. We were just celebrating New Years Day and here we are in April. I just had my first radio interview with Mr. Charlie Ammerman at Original Country Radio. That was so much fun. I was kinda nervous, but he was really easy to talk to. What a nice guy. I look forward to doing it again. :)

Things just keep rolling and I manage to stay busy. Life never seems to slow down and I wouldn't have it any other way. The interview with Charlie sparked interest in Branson, MO. I was asked to be a guest on the Gene Williams Country Show. Wahoo! This will be a new experience. I have never been to Branson, but I have heard it is a great place. Hmmmm... road trip?

November. 26, 2005

Well, turkey day is done. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I spent a quiet, laid back day with family. It was great. November has been a fun month. I was able to open for Carmen Rasmussen and meet her backstage. What a sweetie! I was blown away by her voice. She is very talented. Thanks to everyone who came to the show. It was awesome!! It was also my first time using a hands free microphone. Very liberating, but I think I will stick to good old fashioned cordless. ? I went back to Nashville in mid November to work with Wayne Hall on graphic design for the album cover. It was quite the learning experience to see how everything is put together. There is a lot that goes into it. I am very impressed and pleased with how the cover turned out. Thanks, Wayne, for all the time and talent you put into this project. You are truly gifted. It has been such a treat to watch this all come together. -Michele

This past month has been a lot of fun for me. I had the opportunity to be in studio when the orchestra was being added. It really added a lot to the songs. It's amazing how strings can add that finishing touch. Thank you Chuck for the beautiful arrangements. When I heard the finished songs, it brought tears to my eyes.So many people have worked very hard on this project to make it what it is. Thank you guys! You all did such a great job. It was quite satisfying to hear the whole thing brought together. This has been like watching a dream coming true right in front of my eyes. - Michele

Wow! What a rush! FanFair at the Gibson Theater is done. What a blast! I had the best time. Thanks sooo much to everyone who came. It was such an honor to play there. Being on stage performing is one of the most incredible experiances. There is nothing like it. I feel so blessed to be able to do this.

The road trip went well. I love to travel and it was a lot of fun to see more of this beautiful country. It was really different to go from being in the mountains to completly flat. It was really pretty though. We stopped in Kansas City for gas and stumbled upon Crisp Avenue. I thought it was so neat. I am such a shutterbug, so of course we had to stop and take pictures. We were able to stop in St. Louis on the way home and see the arch. It was a gorgeous view from the top.

It was a great trip and I am looking forward to doing it again. I hope everyone has a great 4th of July. -Michele

It will fun to come back to Nashville. My husband I decided it would be fun to make this visit a road trip. It should be interesting. It's a twenty-six hour drive. I am looking forward to it. I have never driven that far east before. Well, I better get packed. -Michele

Welcome to my new site! I am so excited to have this up! Things have been pretty busy lately. I have made two trips to Nashville to finish my very first album. What a blast! It is all original material and that made it even more fun. What an incredible experiance. I had never been in a studio before and I was pretty nervous, but everyone there made me feel right at home. The musicians are all so talented. They can hear something once and bring it to life. It was such an honor to work with them.

I really enjoyed being in Nashville. It is a wonderful city. They kept me pretty busy with recording and all, but I was able to walk down Broadway and see all the cute shops and hear all the music. What a great place! The people are so friendly and so willing to welcome everyone. I went into the Earnest Tubb Record Store and was looking at all the pictures on the walls and I came across a picture of a street sign that said "Crisp". I thought that was neat. Also while in Nashville, I was introduced to turnip greens. They looked a lot like spinach so I gave them a whirl. They were so good! Not many stores in Utah have them, so I went to the store there and bought five cans to bring home.

The past week also included a road trip to Biloxi, MI to shoot a music video for "Lighthouse". Another first for me. It was so much fun. The weather was perfect and they couldn't have picked a more beautiful spot. The beaches there are really pretty and the sand is soft. I love being by the ocean. I really enjoyed the scenery on the way down. It was nice to see all that green. We made a pit stop at a little store in Alabama and I got to try a boiled peanut. I didn't know that peanuts came that way. I have been having a great time with everything and I hope to be back in Nashville soon. -Michele
